It helps if you include your phone model, the Bawaal version (Settings › About) or your browser, and the game you were playing. For a bad card, copy the exact text.
Android app
Bawaal is free on Google Play, and Google Play installs every update.
- Tilt not working in Sar Pe Phone? Hold the phone in landscape on your forehead, screen facing your friends. Still stuck? Open the game's settings and switch to Buttons, then tap Sahi or Pass.
- No sound? Turn up the media volume, then tap the screen once.
- A card is wrong, outdated or not okay? See Report a card below.
- Crash reports: the app sends an anonymous report when it crashes (never names or cards). Settings › Privacy switches it off. How it works.
iPhone app (beta)
- Tilt not working in Sar Pe Phone? Hold the phone in landscape on your forehead, screen facing your friends. Still stuck? Open the game's settings and switch to Buttons, then tap Sahi or Pass.
- No sound? Check the silent switch and the volume, then tap the screen once.
- A card is wrong, outdated or not okay? Tap ⋯ on the card, then Report. Bawaal shows you the report first, and you send it by email or any app you like. Nothing is sent automatically.
- Tell us how the party went: Settings › Feedback › Feedback bhejo. Notes wait on your phone until you send them, so a party with no signal is fine.
- Keep it family-safe: Settings › Family lock keeps every game at Sanskari or Bindaas. Unlocking it needs a 3-second hold.
- Crash reports and usage sharing: if the app crashes, it sends us an anonymous crash report (never names or cards) so we can fix it. Switch it off in Settings › Privacy. Usage sharing is off unless you turn it on there. How it works.

Web version
Tilt isn't working in Sar Pe Phone
- iPhone (Safari): when Safari asks to allow "Motion & Orientation", tap Allow. If you missed it, close the tab, reopen Bawaal and tap the deck again.
- Hold the phone on your forehead, in landscape, with the screen facing your friends.
- Still stuck? Switch to Buttons mode in the Sar Pe Phone settings and tap Sahi or Pass instead.
No sound
- Turn off silent mode (iPhone's side switch), turn the volume up, and tap the screen once. Browsers only play sound after a tap.
Screen keeps turning off
- Bawaal asks your phone to stay awake during a round. If your phone's battery saver blocks that, turn battery saver off for the party.
Get an app icon
- iPhone (Safari): Share → Add to Home Screen. Android (Chrome): ⋮ → Add to Home screen / Install app. Or install the Android app from Google Play, or join the iPhone beta.
Start fresh
- Clear site data for bawaal.app in your browser settings. That resets players, settings and the no-repeat list.
Everywhere
We're seeing repeat cards
- Bawaal skips cards you've played for about 12 hours on the same phone. In a private or incognito browser tab, that memory resets when you close the tab.
Report a card
If a card is wrong, outdated, offensive or punches down, use ⋯ › Report on the card, or mail us with the subject "Card report", the game, and the card text. We review every report.
