Bawaal

Bawaal beta

Play it. Break it. Tell us.

Bawaal's beta is open to anyone hosting a get-together. Play it at your next party, then tell us what happened: what broke, what dragged, which cards landed and which fell flat. Every build fixes or adds one thing, and the build journey shows which finding led to it.

Bawaal is a desi game night on one phone: Antakshari, Bollywood dumb charades, forehead guessing with 30+ desi decks, Chor Kaun? and 8 more games, written for Indian rooms.

On the web

Any phone with Chrome or Safari. The beta link asks "Kaisa raha?" after every party night.

On Android

Bawaal is on Google Play. Install it, play it at your next get-together, then tell us how it went.

Get it on Google Play

How it works

  1. Join the iPhone beta above or the web beta, or install Bawaal for Android from Google Play.
  2. Play it at a real get-together. A sofa of 3, a terrace of 16 or the whole khandaan.
  3. Tell us what happened, good or bad. Use "Kaisa raha?" in the app, take a screenshot in TestFlight, or write to contact.techfusionlab@gmail.com.

After you play, tell us

  1. How many people, which occasion, which games?
  2. How long from opening Bawaal to the first card?
  3. Was anyone ever unsure whose turn it was?
  4. Chor Kaun? or Gangs of Ghar: did anyone see a word or role they shouldn't have?
  5. Sar Pe Phone: did tilt work on every phone, or did you switch to buttons?
  6. Which card got the biggest reaction, and which one fell flat?
  7. Anything that felt not-desi, outdated or unfair to someone in the room?

The small print. Testers must be 18 or older. Testing is unpaid: there are no prizes or payments. Your feedback is only what you choose to send; the app's anonymous crash reports (on unless you switch them off) never include names or cards. Signing up for the iPhone beta here keeps your email, as the privacy policy explains. If your finding leads to a fix, the build journey credits you by first name, and only if you say yes.
